Omubaka Ssalongo Kibuuka (right) launches olubugo in the UK & Ireland
The Omubaka wa Kabaka in the United Kingdom and Ireland Oweek. Ssalongo Geoffrey Kibuuka presided over the official launch of the Barkcloth (Olubugo) use in UK & Ireland in an event that was organised by Omwami Pauline Najjuma of Rap and Sons Ltd in Partnership with T. Cribbs Funeral Directors.
The event that took place on Saturday 22nd March 2025 was graced by several Buganda officials, religious and cultural leaders.
During the launch, speakers highlighted the benefits of the olubugo and various products were showcased, further promoting Buganda culture.
