The Kabaka representative in the UK and Ireland, Oweek Ssaalong Geoffrey flagging off runners
On Sunday, April 7th, 2024, the King's subjects living in the UK and Ireland participated in Kabaka's 69th Birthday Run, with the theme of fighting AIDS.
The race took place in Tottenham, North London, and was well-attended by adults and children from various parts of the country.
The Kabaka representative to the UK and Ireland, Oweek. Ssaalong Geoffrey Kibuuka urged people to join the fight against AIDS by not only purchasing kits but also by guiding the youth to avoid behaviours that could lead them to HIV contraction.

The Kabaka’s representative thanked all the participants, especially the youths, and expressed gratitude to the officials of North London and the Counties that played a key role in organising the event, which officially kicked off at exactly ten o'clock.
Among the attendees were Oweek Ronald Lutaaya, Retired Kabaka's representative in the UK, deputy chiefs, and officials among others.
