Prayers for Cedric Babu: Katikkiro Conveys Condolences to the Family
Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga conveyed condolences to Capt. Francis Babu upon the loss of his son — sportsman, journalist, and politician Cedric Babu Ndilima.
Cedric Babu died in Nairobi, Kenya, where he had been transferred from Rwanda after his health condition deteriorated.
The condolence message was delivered by the Buganda Minister for Information and Mobilization and Kingdom Spokesperson, Owek. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, who represented the Katikkiro at the requiem mass held at Lubaga Cathedral.

The Katikkiro said the deceased had done a lot in tennis, other sports, and journalism, and had left a great example for others — including those he supported and mentored.
Captain Francis Babu thanked the God for the gift of Cedric Babu, whom he described as a hardworking and attentive son.
The mass was attended by the Nnabagereka Sylvia Nagginda, officials from the Kingdom and government, and many other mourners.
