Buganda Kombucha company has generously donated an ambulance to the Kabaka Foundation, aiming to save the lives of the king's subjects, particularly in rural areas.

The Director of Buganda Kombucha Drink, Mr Muhumuza Emmanuel, officially handed over the ambulance to Hon. Cotilda Nakate Kikomeko, the Minister of Health, at the Bulange Mengo.

This donation fulfils Mr Muhumuza Emmanuel's pledge to provide an ambulance to the Kabaka Foundation that he made some time back.

While receiving the ambulance, Minister of Health and Human Development, Hon. Cotilda Nakate Kikomeko, emphasised the significant needs in the health sector, including medicines, doctors, and ambulances. She stressed that satisfactory treatment is essential for people to recover from diseases.

Furthermore, Hon. Cotilda Nakate Kikomeko mentioned the King's desire to increase the number of doctors. Plans are underway to encourage parents to enrol their children in health courses, providing them with medical skills. This initiative aligns with the development of Kingdom hospitals, both those under construction and those already established.

Executive Director of the Kabaka Foundation, Mr Edward Kaggwa Ndagala, highlighted the ambulance's role in reaching people on the ground, wherever they are, to save lives.

He also discussed the ongoing blood donation efforts in Buganda and the progress in provinces, emphasising the need for various equipment, including ambulances, to enhance healthcare services.
