Oweek. Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga read a message from His Majesty the Kabaka at St. John the Baptist Church, Nazareth, Kanabulemu, where the funeral service was held.

The King’s Message in Full:

“We have received the sad news of the passing of Omulangira Paul Mawanda Kyabaggu. It is a great loss.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his widow, family, friends, the Chiefs of Ssanje, and the business community in Kampala.

We mourn a man who was a prominent supporter of many Kingdom programs and who greatly supported Her Majesty the Nnaabagereka’s Ekisaakaate at his school.

We thank God for the many gifts He bestowed upon the late Omulangira, including his efficiency, creativity, and generosity. He was a prosperous industrialist and employer who positively impacted the lives of many.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest.”
