The Prime Minister gave the youth advice to help them become wealthy, thereby fighting poverty.He provided this guidance at the Bulange flower gardens during a meeting with young professionals.
In his address, he emphasised that the key to success in any job lies in integrity, transparency, and quality. He also highlighted critical points that young people should focus on if they wish to excel in their careers:
1. Focus on Ideas that Generate Income: Concentrate on ideas that meet a demand, regardless of their size. Small ideas can lead to significant results if managed well.
2. Learn Your Desired Job: Understanding the market's needs is crucial. Study and master the job you want to do.
3. Be Transparent: Dishonesty and corruption do not lead to success. As a business owner, maintaining customers' trust is essential.
4. Be Patient: Wealth takes time to accumulate. It requires patience and a clear understanding of your sources and how customers interact with your products.
5. Work with Passion: Dedicate yourself to your work to attract more customers.
6. Manage Finances Wisely: Align your spending with your income. Use some money for daily needs, save some, and reinvest the rest into the business.

The Prime Minister also urged the youth to keep records of their income and expenses to understand their business's financial status.
The Minister of Youth, Sports, and Talent, Hon. Ssaalongo Robert Sserwanga, encouraged the youth to seize opportunities around them and create jobs, as the government supports those who initiate.
The Director of the Buganda Royal Institute of Business and Technical Education, Hon. Joseph Balikuddembe Ssenkusu, explained that the Directory of Industrial Training was established to train young people in practical skills and provide them with certifications to prove their expertise.
On behalf of the youth representatives in the Buganda Council, Hon. Kizito Mulwana, urged the youth to strengthen their work, particularly in skilled trades, as these will attract customers.
Various young professionals, including carpenters, blacksmiths, photographers, farmers, and technologists, showcased their work.
The Prime Minister toured their exhibitions, advising them not to relent but to focus on improving the quality of their products.
