They include, Hon. Henry Ndawula, his deputy Fiona Nattabi Kafeero, and their entire council, and the ceremony was held at McDevitt Middle School, Waltham, last night.
The Chief Minister thanked Hon. Kato Kajubi, who retired from the service for his services. He urged the new leaders to serve the people of Kabaka well and find solutions to overcome challenges while fulfilling their responsibilities.
He urged the people of the King in the diaspora to unite and make money, to have a strong development project to start.
He urged them to immerse the children in their culture and traditions and make them aware of the Kingdom and Africa as a whole.
Former Ambassador to the King, Hon. Kato Kajubi, thanked the Kabaka, for appointing chief minister Charles Peter Mayiga, who has done his job well.
They raised $1,2800, for the digging of wells to fight the shortage of clean water in Buganda.
The ceremony was attended by Prince David Kintu Wasajja, Ministers, the King's chiefs in foreign provinces, and a delegation of officials from the Kingdom.
