Ssingo and Buweekula have reached the finals of the 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup football tournament. Ssingo qualified after defeating Bugerere 2–1 on aggregate in the two semifinal matches, while Buweekula eliminated Kyaggwe 4–3 on penalties following a 1–1 draw on aggregate.
Bugerere and Kyaggwe will battle for third place on November 1, 2025, at Nakivubo Stadium, while Ssingo and Buweekula will face off in the grand final for this year’s championship title. This marks Buweekula’s fourth appearance in a Masaza Cup final, though they have never lifted the trophy, while Ssingo has now reached five finals, winning the title twice.
To guide the sale of tickets for fans who wish to watch the final live at Nakivubo, Buganda’s Minister for Youth, Sports and Talent, Hon. Robert Serwanga, announced the official ticket outlets and urged fans to purchase their tickets only from authorized centers and in good time.
Authorized ticket outlets include Unique Garments in Kyaggwe, Bulange Gate in Mengo, Buildmax Hardware, and Nsanja Agro Chemicals in Kampala. For fans from Bugerere, Buweekula, and Ssingo, tickets are available at their respective county offices.
According to Minister Serwanga, ticket prices are as follows: UGX 30,000 for ordinary seats, UGX 50,000 for VIP, and UGX 150,000 for VVIP. He cautioned fans to buy tickets only from the listed outlets to avoid counterfeit tickets, warning that anyone caught with a fake ticket will be arrested and handed over to the authorities.
The Minister also noted that some people tend to buy tickets and resell them at higher prices in the final days, and therefore advised supporters to plan early, as genuine tickets are already available on the market.
Hon. Serwanga reminded football lovers that no tickets will be sold at the gates this year, urging everyone to secure their tickets in advance.
