Hon. Nsibirwa (third from right) with clergy and other church leaders in Kyanja
The Second Deputy Katikkiro of the Kingdom of Buganda, Hon. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, has urged the public to support development initiatives.
He made the remarks at St. Mark Kakumba Church in Kyanja, where he attended a fundraising event aimed at supporting the construction of a residence for the church bishop.
Hon. Nsibirwa noted that places of worship foster unity, as they bring together people of different nationalities, races, and backgrounds. He added that supporting the construction of worship centres is a noble act, as many people turn to them during times of hardship to seek spiritual guidance from religious leaders.
He led Christians in Kyanja and other well-wishers in contributing funds towards the bishop’s residence, as the church prepares to be inaugurated as a diocese on 1st November 2025.
