Ms. Teddy Nabakooza Galiwango was representing Buganda at the conference
The Buganda Kingdom has shared its perspective on funding for environmental conservation, which is allocated by developed nations to support developing countries.
These views were presented by Buganda’s Environmental Coordinator, Ms. Teddy Nabakooza Galiwango, at the ongoing 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16), a global environmental conference in Cali, Colombia.
Previously, COP16 representatives agreed to establish a fund overseen by an international environmental body, aimed at ensuring that resources are set aside to support countries in need.
This funding is intended to help these countries implement their environmental conservation plans.
