Owek. Robert Waggwa addresses Rotarians in Kasangati, urging the privileged to support the needy

Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, the Second Deputy Katikkiro, has called on those who are well-off to extend a helping hand to those in need, emphasizing that true humanity is defined by compassion and generosity.

Owek. Nsibirwa made these remarks while representing the Katikkiro at a gathering of Rotarians in Kasangati, where they recognized individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the community.

"What defines a person is not their wealth but their willingness to help others, even when there is no personal connection or expectation of reward. By selflessly supporting those in need, we contribute to building a better society. This is the spirit of Rotary that we seek to promote among all people," he stated.

He further explained that, in Rotary clubs worldwide, each year begins with recognizing individuals or organizations that have demonstrated exceptional service in improving lives. This recognition not only honors their efforts but also inspires others to do the same.
