His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II is the reigning King of the Kingdom of Buganda. He was born on April 13, 1955, at a time when his father, the late Sir Edward Muteesa II, was in exile in Britain during the early days of political unrest in Uganda.
Kabaka Ronald Edward Frederick Kimera Muwenda Mutebi II is the 36th King of Buganda, and he will celebrate his 70th birthday on April 13, 2025.
The official celebrations will take place from April 4 to April 13, 2025, under the theme:"Let’s Stay Healthy by Embracing Vaccination and Seeking Medical Care for All Diseases."
