Buganda Kingdom's First Deputy Premier (Katikkiro) and also the Minister in charge of Administration, ICT and Innovations, Hon Twaha Kaawaase Kigongo, expressed gratitude to the King for providing beneficial themes.
At the launch of the Partner in Danger program (Insurance) at Muganzirwazza, he highlighted its focus on aiding individuals, especially those with health issues. The initiative aims to assist those facing various health challenges, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to the well-being of its people.
He urged people to adopt the health-saving program with two payment options: shs 36,000 or shs 60,000 per annum. The scheme offers benefits such as accident assistance, sickness coverage, and support for bereaved relatives.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of Hon. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, Second Deputy and Treasurer, alongside Jennifer Ssensuwa Mirembe, CEO of Weerinde Insurance. Officials from the Insurance Regulatory Authority, Liberty of Life, and other dignitaries from the Buganda Kingdom were also in attendance.
