
The Katikkiro of Buganda meets Uganda AIDS Commission officials to discuss efforts to end HIV/AIDS by 2030
The Katikkiro of Buganda held a meeting with a delegation from the Uganda AIDS Commission, including Tom Ettii (Director of Partnerships) and Hope Murungi (Coordinator for Civil Society and Private Sector).
During the meeting, they introduced Prof. Gerald Karyeija Kagambirwe, the lead facilitator, and Dr. Howard Ayo, the co-facilitator, for the review of joint efforts to eliminate HIV/AIDS by 2030.
Katikkiro outlined the Kingdom’s ongoing initiatives, emphasizing the Kabaka’s leadership in mobilizing communities to combat HIV/AIDS.
He reaffirmed Buganda’s commitment to working closely with national and global stakeholders to achieve this goal.
