He launched the campaign at Masuuliita in Busiro, after visiting farmers, and stressed that this year, the Kingdom will focus on: Cooperation; Drinking coffee; Women and Youth, and the promotion of sustainable agriculture.
Oweek Hajjat Mariam Mayanja, urged women to get involved in cooperatives to benefit from the Kingdom’s programmes, fight poverty. He also urged people to plant trees to save the environment.
The Hon. Haji Amis Kakomo, promised to continue the Mmwanyi Terimba campaign, without hesitation.
Prof. Julius Zzaake on behalf of the Chairman of the Board of BUCADEF, said the land is very old and urged people to take advantage of it, in order to benefit from it.
