The Buganda Kingdom has sent a message of condolence to the family of the late Eldard Walakira, following the loss of their beloved relative.
The late Eldard Walakira was the father of Margaret Mayiga, the wife of the Katikkiro, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga.
On behalf of the Kingdom, the First Deputy Katikkiro, Hon. Prof. Twaha Kaawaase, sent a message of condolence, which was delivered by the Speaker of the Buganda Lukiiko, Hon. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule, during a memorial service held at the late Walakira’s home in Buloba.

In the message,Hon. Kaawaase thanked God for the life He had given the deceased and the many contributions he had made. He encouraged the bereaved family to continue the legacy he left behind.
Special condolence was extended to Hon. Charles Peter Mayiga, Omuky. Margaret Mayiga, and the entire family. The Kingdom offered prayers that God may comfort them during this difficult time, and that the deceased may rest in eternal peace.
