The Buganda Kingdom has signed a partnership with Tropical Bank to collaborate on life-changing initiatives for the people.
The Katikkiro met with Tropical Bank's Managing Director, Abdulaziz Muhamed Mansur, to establish a partnership aimed at enabling people to access finance for job growth, particularly in businesses. This collaboration will rely on Tropical Bank's extensive experience in supporting business ventures. The meeting was held at Bulange in Mengo.
The Katikkiro of Buganda promised to work directly with commercial banks that prioritize transparency in management and to train citizens on financial matters. He noted that commercial banks are crucial for human development, but without transparency in their services, they cannot lift people out of poverty.

The Katikkiro said that because the largest economic market is in Buganda, many people can use such experienced banks to ensure that their businesses flourish.
Tropical Bank Executive Director Hajat Joweria Mukalazi said they will continue to strengthen their services in Buganda, including promoting agriculture and distributing clean water. She also thanked the Kingdom for its good relationship with the bank.
