Subjects of His Majesty the Kabaka living in the North of England and the Midlands today joined in the Kabaka’s Birthday Run, held in various cities across the region.

In Manchester, the run was officially flagged off at Alexandra Park by the Deputy Representative, Rev. Enock Kiyaga Mayanja, who called on men to be strong pillars in supporting the Kabaka’s efforts to end HIV/AIDS by the year 2030.

In Liverpool, the run was held at Everton Park, led by Representative Jennifer Nakakande; while in Leeds, it took place at Roundhay Park under the leadership of Representative Mabel Kazibwe.

In Coventry, participants gathered at Memorial Park, led by Representative Peter Kasibante; and in Birmingham, the event was held at Cannon Hill Park, spearheaded by Representative Bewaayo Kiyingi Bbosa and official Liz Namutebi.
