Five-year-old Dominic Luther Mubiru has earned royal recognition from Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II after sending him a touching birthday letter and a gift to celebrate Kabaka's 70th birthday.

Dominic, a pupil at St Franciscan Angels Daycare and Kindergarten in Kiteezi, used money he received after losing his first tooth to buy a whistle, an item he believed could help the Kabaka remind his people to be hardworking.

After purchasing the whistle, Dominic sat down to write a heartfelt letter congratulating the Kabaka on attaining 70 years of age. He carefully packed the letter along with the whistle and sent them to the King.

The Kabaka was so moved by the child's meaningful gift and thoughtful message that he sent Dominic a personal letter of appreciation.
