Prince Jjunju launches the Kabaka Foundation in Boston, USA

The King of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, expressed gratitude to Baganda living overseas for their unwavering support of the Kingdom's initiatives.

He thanked them for their dedication to promoting Buganda's welfare, particularly through their contributions to projects under the Kabaka Foundation, which aim to uplift the lives of both the people of Buganda and all Ugandans.

The Kabaka’s message was delivered by Prince Jjunju Crispin Kiweewa during the inauguration of the Massachusetts-Boston branch of the Kabaka Foundation at an event held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Woburn, Massachusetts, USA. Prince Jjunju officially launched the leadership board of the branch, chaired by Mr. James Sentongo.

During the ceremony, Prince Jjunju also announced the Kabaka's new initiative: the establishment of the Kabaka Foundation Academy, a school aimed at providing free education to underprivileged children, especially those living in the slums of Kampala.

The academy will offer educational opportunities to children who have limited access to schooling, enabling them to pursue their studies at no cost.

He urged the Baganda community in Boston to support the Kabaka’s mission to advance education in the Kingdom.

The leaders of the Kabaka Foundation Boston branch, led by Mr. James Sentongo, took oaths of service and expressed their gratitude for the trust placed in them.

They pledged to work tirelessly to ensure the success of the Kabaka's initiatives, particularly in supporting children with limited access to education.
