Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga welcomed executives of Fakhruddin Properties from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), who returned from a visit to strengthen the Kingdom’s partnerships following the Katikkiro’s trip to the Arabian Peninsula.
During the meeting, they donated $1,000 to support the Kingdom’s initiative to construct clean water wells in Buganda. Katikkiro Mayiga expressed appreciation for their generosity, emphasizing that investors are invaluable to the Kingdom for their contributions to national development.
“Investors help in development, providing resources to drill wells and support our assemblies and communities. Poverty remains a barrier in our society, and access to good housing and a decent standard of living is essential. Without proper homes or a good quality of life, people cannot fully care for their culture or participate meaningfully in society,” Katikkiro stated.
