Prayers and celebrations as Kabaka Mutebi marks 32 years on the throne
This Thursday, July 31st, a special prayer service will be held at Kibuli to commemorate and celebrate 32 years since Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II ascended the throne.
Christians in Kasakka, Gomba District, have also joined other places of worship in holding special thanksgiving prayers to honour the Kabaka’s 32-year reign.
The Buganda Kingdom Minister for Agriculture, Trade, Cooperatives, and Fisheries, Owek. Hajj Amisi Kakomo, delivered a message from the Katikkiro during the service.
Preparations for the wider celebrations are still ongoing to ensure that the ceremonies proceed smoothly.
