CBS Radio has appointed a new board of directors chaired by Omukungu David Balaka, with Mrs. Solome Nasejje Luyombo serving as the deputy chairperson.
The other members of the board are:
- Owek. John W. Katende
- Mr. Haruna Nnyanzi Lule
- Mr. John Fred Kiyimba Freeman
- Ms. Brenda Ssekabembe
- Mr. Benedicto Kiwanuka Bamweyana
- Mr. Francisco Ssemwanga
- Mr. Micheal Kawoya Mwebe – Secretary to the board
The board also includes three additional directors elected by the shareholders’ general assembly to represent ownership interests.
While unveiling the new board, the Minister for Information, Mobilization and Kingdom Spokesperson, Owek. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, called on the appointees to uphold CBS’s legacy and continue steering it as a leading media institution.
The outgoing board concluded a six-year term of service.
