Excitement as Busoga Kingdom celebrated the Kyabazinga William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV 9th coronation anniversary.
The ceremonies were held at Kigulu District, Namungalwe, Iganga. The Buganda Kingdom was represented by the Minister of Cabinet, Parliament, Guests, and Office of the Prime Minister, Hon Noah Kiyimba, and the Minister of Agriculture, Cooperatives, Markets, and Fisheries, Hon Hajji Amisi Kakomo.
In his speech, King William Wilberforce Nadiope Gabula IV exhorted the people to plant trees in schools, churches, and hospitals. This will aid in environmental protection.
He encouraged them to cultivate income-generating food crops so that they could go about their everyday routines while still having enough to eat.
He challenged the youth to get involved in commerce, agriculture, and talent development so that they return Busoga to its former glory.
He praised youngsters for their love of their customs, noting that this will help to strengthen Busoga's culture and traditions in the future.
