The Prime Minister was visiting one of the coffee gardens in Buwekula county
The Prime Minister of Buganda officially inaugurated Year A of the Mmwanyi Terimba project in 2024.
Venturing into Buweekula County, the Katikkiro visited coffee farmers, rallying the community to actively engage in the Emmwanyi Terimba initiative and embrace cooperative efforts.
His delegation included the Minister of Agriculture, Markets, and Cooperatives, Hon Hajji Amisi Kakomo; the Minister of Information and Spokesperson, Hon Israel Kazibwe Kitooke; the Minister of Cabinet Councils and Office of the Katikkiro, Hon Noah Kiyimba; and the Chairman of BUCADEF Board, Dr. Benon Ssekamatte.
The Katikkiro is set to continue his visits, reaching out to farmers in Ssaabagabo Kasambya, Mutuba I Kitenga, and Kasaana sub-county.

Launching the Year 2024 of the Mmwanyi Terimba initiative, he emphasised key campaign themes: the importance of cooperatives, the role of coffee consumption in enhancing rice quality, and the drive for poverty eradication. The official campaign launch took place in Buweekula, specifically in Mutuba 1 Kitenga Sub-County.
