Hon. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule laying a wreath at the coffin of the deceased
The Buganda Kingdom has sent condolences to Bishop Moses Banja on the passing of his sister, Dorothy Namagembe Kasagga.
The message from the Kingdom, delivered by the Katikkiro, was read by the Speaker of the Buganda Lukiiko, Hon. Patrick Luwaga Mugumbule, during a service at Namirembe Cathedral.
In his message, the Katikkiro extended sympathy to the family and friends of the late and to the Head of the Mbogo Clan, Omutaka Kayiira Gaajuule, for the loss of his clanswoman.
He said to the family:
“Your parents raised you well. You became a Bishop, and others also took on various responsibilities, including the late Vicky Bukirwa Kalibbala, who served the Kabaka in the Buganda Land Board.”
The Katikkiro thanked God for the life given to Dorothy Namagembe and prayed that God comforts the bereaved and grants mercy to the soul of the deceased.
