Masaka – The Buganda Kingdom has sent condolences to Omuk. Fred Mukasa Luzinda following the loss of his mother, the late Mary Kabasomi Amooti, who was laid to rest in Buwunga – Nkuke, Masaka District.

The condolence message from Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga was delivered by Second Deputy Katikkiro, Owek. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, during the funeral on Friday.

In his message, the Katikkiro thanked God for the time He gave the late Amooti, highlighting her role in raising disciplined and hardworking children who respect others.

He also praised Omuk. Luzinda for being a model farmer, particularly in coffee farming, and recognized his loyalty and service to the Kabaka, especially through his role on the coffee board.

“The image of Luzinda’s mother will live on as a shining example to her children. We pray that the family finds strength in this difficult time,” the Katikkiro said in his message, read by Owek. Nsibirwa.
