Subjects of the Kabaka from Ggombolola Mutuba IV Makulubita gathered at the Mengo Palace, bringing gifts as a sign of their unwavering loyalty to the Buganda Kingdom.

Prince Felix Muteesa, who officially received the gifts, stated that disputes over Buganda’s land have arisen due to the negligence of some local chiefs who prioritize quick financial gains over long-term development.

He warned against colluding with land grabbers and urged the Kabaka’s chiefs to prioritize the protection of the kingdom’s land.

Prince Muteesa also advised parents to focus on educating their children and teaching them vocational skills as a means of fostering development in Buganda.

Moses Luutu, the Prime Minister of the Kabaka’s lands, expressed gratitude to the people of Bulemeezi for their unwavering support of the kingdom.

Goriath Lumbuye, the leader of Ggombolola Mutuba IV Makulubita, thanked His Majesty the Kabaka for establishing a health center in their region, which has helped residents access medical check-ups, particularly for HIV/AIDS.

The offerings presented included bananas, goats, foodstuffs, sugarcane, and other items, all of which contribute to supporting the various initiatives within the royal palace.
