Justice Julia Ssebutinde, the Chancellor of the University, played a key role in graduating the students. She has committed to honouring the king's directive of prioritizing agriculture among the university's courses and expressing a commitment to enhancing agricultural education, including plans for its expansion.
Justice Ssebutinde has expressed a desire to enhance and improve agricultural education at the university, with a particular focus on strengthening it starting from the next academic year. Furthermore, she outlined plans to incorporate technology into agricultural practices and intends to extend this initiative to all counties, commencing with Buddu County.
According to the Prime Minister (Katikkiro), Uganda might not lead in technology compared to Western countries. However, he believes that Uganda has the potential to surpass them significantly in agriculture, particularly if there are concentrated efforts and emphasis on prioritizing agriculture, as exemplified by the initiatives undertaken at Muteesa 1 Royal University
