The Omutima Omuyanja, led by the Chief of the Clan, Omutaka Namugera Kakeeto, met with the Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, and thanked him for his 10 years of service to the Kingdom, holding the Ddamula. They also presented him with plans for the development of their clan.
The Prime Minister welcomed them and asked them to continue to support him. He urged them to strengthen their culture and traditions amidst the adoption of modern technology, support various Clan causes, and preserve the tradition of naming children after the clan.
