The Kabaka’s people in Botswana have asked to be recognized as a province so that they can bond more as the Baganda community

The Kabaka’s people in Botswana have asked to be recognized as a province so that they can bond more as the Baganda community

This is the message they carried with the Ppookino, Oweek Jude Muleke, when he met them on behalf of the Kingdom, in Gaborone.

They asked that although they are still small, they should be considered to become a province of the Buganda, to help them to protect themselves through the leadership the Kabaka will give them.

They asked questions about the Kingdom's plans, including how they can be helped to acquire houses in Buganda estates, PEWOSA issues, buying shares in Royal companies, and many more.

They thanked the King for thinking of them and sending messengers and vowed that they would not remain the same, as it was the first time, they had received official guests from the Kingdom of Buganda.
