Charles Peter Mayiga, with Ministers; The Hon. Mariam Nkalubo Mayanja and Hon. Joseph Kawuki and a delegation from Buganda kingdom, visited the headquarters of the Wells of Life Partners, in Los Angeles, California.
The Wells of Life group, Nick Jordan, and in partnership with the Kingdom, have just dug more than 800 wells, in various areas, to bring clean water to the people of the King. These wells have been dug in Kassanda, Mubende, Ssingo, Busujju, and elsewhere.
They pledged to continue the partnership by digging wells, to solve the shortage of clean water in Buganda.
The Prime minister is still on a visit to the United States, and to seek partners in the development of the Kingdom, and will be in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 10, 2023, to attend the Mass of Remembrance of the Martyrs of Uganda on June 11, 2023, at St. Louis. St. Mary's Church, 30 Pond Street, Waltham, and then meet the Boston community for dinner.
