The Queen delivering a message urging people to work together to support the needy
Queen Sylvia Nagginda says there are many people in need, and everyone has the opportunity to help by doing something small yet meaningful. She believes that when we work together, we have the power to create positive changes in the lives of those facing various challenges.
The Queen made these remarks while visiting a school for the deaf in Masaka, where she opened a new facility equipped with digital learning tools. The purpose of this facility is to enhance the knowledge and skills of deaf children, helping them navigate everyday life and build their potential.
The school was established by Mr. Francis Kamulegeya, the Chairman of the Buganda Land Board, and has been educating deaf children for the past 20 years. Queen Nagginda praised the staff at the school for their dedication to supporting the nation's children and emphasized that the country's development relies on people coming together to address different needs.
She encouraged everyone to be mindful of the needs within their communities and to do whatever they can to help, as every effort, no matter how small, can bring hope to the lives of those in need.
