Nnaabagereka Sylvia Nagginda has today visited Abasaakaate attending Ekisaakaate 2026, which is currently taking place at Hormisdallen School in Gayaza.
During her visit, the Nnaabagereka interacted with the children, who shared some of the lessons they have covered so far. She encouraged them to remain focused and committed to their studies throughout the programme.
The Nnaabagereka also urged the Abasaakaate to put into practice what they learn during Ekisaakaate when they return home, noting that this plays an important role in shaping their character and values.

The Minister for Human Development and Affairs in the Office of the Nnaabagereka, Owek. Choltilda Nakate Kikomeko, commended the Nnaabagereka for initiating and sustaining the Ekisaakaate programme, saying it aims to nurture children in values and life skills so they can grow into responsible and productive citizens.
Due to the prevailing political situation in the country, this year’s Ekisaakaate programme will run for ten days only.
