Wankulukuku – The Bika Football Tournament has reached the semi-final stage, following thrilling quarterfinal matches held at Wankulukuku and WAKISSHA stadia.

The Buganda minister for Youth, Sports, and Talent, Hon. Robert Serwanga, has urged Buganda Kingdom subjects to respond to the Kabaka’s call and support their respective clans in the tournament.

He delivered this message while attending the match between Mmamba Kakoboza and Nseenene at Wankulukuku Stadium.

Minister Serwanga commended all the clans that participated in the 2025 tournament and noted that excitement and support for the games has grown, especially now that the finals are approaching.

The Minister expressed appreciation to the fans who turned up in large numbers and called upon the youth to continue supporting their clans. He also encouraged those whose teams have been knocked out to continue supporting the tournament until the final on 7th June 2025.

Today’s four matches concluded as follows: Ngabi Nsamba defeated Ngabi Nnyunga 4–1, Kkobe overcame Ngo 4–2, Omutima Omusagi lost 0–2 to Ndiga, and Mmamba Kakoboza was edged out 1–2 by Nseenene.

Following these results, four teams have qualified for the semifinals: Ngabi Nsamba, Kkobe, Ndiga, and Nseenene.

The descendants of Nsamba cannot be overlooked as contenders for this year’s trophy, having delivered strong performances throughout the tournament.
