The Kingdom partners of Wells of Life, which dig wells in various parts of Buganda, have visited the Kingdom headquarters. They met with the Katikkiro to further discuss their relationship with the Kingdom.
The Katikkiro commended them for this partnership that brings clean water to the people of the Kabaka and urged the people to protect and maintain the newly dug wells, to fight diseases caused by polluted water and its shortage. He also thanked the Kabaka's people living abroad who have brought funds to support the programme.
The Hon. Amis Kakomo, in charge of the programme, said more than 700 wells have been dug.
Wells of Life, led by Adrian Laurent and Charles Hedges, pledged to continue digging wells and promoting hygiene, with the nation now heading to Mawokota and Gomba.
