They came to present their plan to the Katikkiro, as well as to strengthen relations with the Kingdom.
They were welcomed by Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, who congratulated them and asked the Christians of Mukono to welcome them, love them, support them and advise them, so that they can fulfil their responsibilities.
He urged them to focus on social services; to promote humanity, entrepreneurship, and innovation, in order to transform the lives of people in the Diocese of Mukono.
Bishop Kagodo, who will be inaugurated on February 26, 2023, said the focus will be on spreading the gospel that draws people to God; land conservation, coffee growing and food production, and fighting poverty among Christians.
