Endiga defeated Olugave, 1-0, in the men's game, to win the clan shield for the first time. The Chief Minister handed over a shield and cash prizes worth 9 million shillings.
In the same way, Engeye defeated Emmamba Nnamakaka 37 - 35, in a netball match to win the women's clan shield. They were also handed over shields and cash prizes worth Shillings 7 million by the Chief Minister.
