The Kabaka's people in Buganda and abroad were reminded to implement and protect their assets by preparing for unforeseen events, including the establishment of insurance schemes. This way, in case of problems, they would have a safety net to rely on.
Katikkiro emphasized the importance of preparedness, citing examples in healthcare, agriculture, and education. He also underscored the significance of safeguarding and preserving resources.
Furthermore, he urged the people of Buganda to embrace insurance services as they strive to enhance their lives.
These remarks were made during the induction of new board members for Weerinde Insurance Brokerage Services Limited, which took place at Bulange in Mengo.
Mrs. Evelyn Nabakka Kigozi retains her position as the Chairperson of the Board of Weerinde Insurance Brokerage Services Limited, with Sam Ntulume, Deputy CEO of I&M Bank, serving as the Deputy Chairperson.
