The county chiefs from all regions in Buganda met with Hon. Joseph Kawuki, Minister of Local Government, with the theme focused on guiding them in implementing effective working methods.
All county chiefs, whether new or existing, received briefings on their responsibilities and workflow. This ensured that everyone, regardless of tenure, was familiarised with their duties.
The newly appointed county chiefs also received letters confirming their nominations.
Additionally, they were instructed to prioritise the King in all their actions and decisions.
