In an effort to uplift the clans, the kingdom has begun visiting the clan's lands.
Minister Anthony Wamala of Heritage, Palaces, Tombs, Tourism, and Security initiated this program at Buzimwa, the home of the Ekkobe clan. On this occasion, he was warmly welcomed by Nnamwama Augustine Kizito Mutumba, the chief of the clan and the chairperson of the Chiefs' Council.
Afterward, he proceeded to Katende, the territory of the Olugave clan, where he was greeted by the Katikkiro of the clan, Mr. Godfrey Katende Natigo.

The minister emphasised that for Buganda to reclaim its position at the forefront, the clans must take the lead with robust leadership. He stressed the importance of descendants actively engaging in employment opportunities and programs initiated by their respective clans, while also contributing to the developmental endeavours of their clans.
Omutaka Nnamwama encouraged descendants to actively engage in their clan programs and called upon clan leaders to join this initiative aimed at elevating the clan's reputation in Buganda and enhancing the overall image of clans within the region.
