The Katikkiro, during his visit to the Buganda Royal Institute in Kakeeka Mengo, assessed the workflow, particularly focusing on student learning. He explored various classes, such as hairdressing, journalism, cooking, mechanics, and beauty.
His address to the institute's staff focused on ensuring the fulfilment of the King's objectives in establishing the institute, especially in providing vocational training and courses to educate the youth and positively impact lives. Expressing gratitude for the institute's achievements over 25 years, he also prompted reflection on its future in the next 50 years.
