“The Kingdom has clear and strong programmes in the health sector. His Majesty the Kabaka, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, continues to encourage families to immunize children, feed them well, and give them quality education. The Nnabagereka, through the Kisakaate initiative, has also greatly contributed to the upbringing and development of children,” said Katikkiro Mayiga.
The Katikkiro added that the partnership shows UNICEF’s appreciation of the Kingdom’s child-focused initiatives, and he affirmed that the Kingdom will continue to strengthen its efforts to ensure that the partnership produces meaningful results.
