Minister Israel Kazibwe in a suit with the delegation from South Sudan
In a show of unity and cultural connection, a delegation representing the Baganda living and working in South Sudan visited the kingdom headquarters at Bulange.
Hon. Israel Kazibwe, Minister of Information and Communications and Spokesperson for the Kingdom welcomed the delegation, who extended a gracious welcome on behalf of the Katikkiro, expressing gratitude for their love for Kabaka and their homeland.
Hon. Kazibwe outlined the Kingdom's diverse programs and how they could actively participate.
They were led by their chairman Kato Ssonko Lutaaya, who formed a group called "Baganda Nkobazambogo South Sudan" and grouped it into five provinces including Kyaddondo, Buddu, Kyaggwe, Mawokota and Ssese.
Mr. Lutaaya stated that the association consists of more than 150 people from different parts of Buganda and they are doing various activities, he presented to the Minister some of their activities and hand in hand with challenges faced while executing these activities.
