The outgoing council members

Ssaabasajja Kabaka has approved changes to the Eddiiro Lya Katikkiro Council.

This council has played a crucial role in resolving matters related to the clans (Ebika) within the Buganda Kingdom.

Clans are an essential pillar of Buganda's cultural heritage, and addressing disputes among them is of great importance.

The Eddiiro Lya Katikkiro Council, which has undergone restructuring, was previously led by Omuk. Joshua Kateregga - Kisekwa, but it will now be headed by Omuk. Dr. Robert Ssonko, who has been appointed to take over the role.

The newly appointed council includes both returning and new members, and it consists of seven individuals:

  1. Omuk. Dr. Robert Ssonko - Kisekwa
  2. Omuk. Salim Makeera - Deputy Kisekwa
  3. Omuk. Lubega Ssebende - Secretary
  4. Omuk. Andrew Kibaya - Councilor
  5. Omuk. Dan Kyagaba - Councilor
  6. Omuk. Samuel Walusimbi - Councilor
  7. Omuk. Jamil Ssewanyana - Councilor
