The stolen vehicle belonging to Kasujju Mark Jjingo Byekwaso Kaberenge II, the Busujju County Chief, has been recovered from a garage in Nakuwadde-Bulenga. No suspects have been arrested yet.

The vehicle was found with the rear number plate removed, and its identification seal wiped off.

The attack occurred on Sunday when thugs armed with machetes targeted the home of Oweek Kasujju and his family at Kabuye-Kabarungi in Zigoti Town Council, Mityana District. The assailants took off with their belongings, including mobile phones, cash amounting to three million Uganda shillings, and the official vehicle attached to his office.

The attack took place late at night while Kasujju and his family were sleeping, assaulting them and leaving them in terror.
