Oweek Kazibwe Kitooke while Installing the Kabaka's representative
Prince Wasajja Eddie was officially appointed as the Kabaka's representative (Omutongole) in Kawaala III.
The Minister of Information, Mobilization, and Kingdom Spokesperson, Hon. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, officiated the ceremony, accompanied by his deputy, Mr. Kigoye Bruhan Ssenyomo, at Kawaala III in the division of Kibuga, Kyaddondo County.
In his address, the Minister urged people to work diligently and with love in service to the Kabaka, without sowing hatred among the community, as the Kabaka welcomes everyone.
The Council of the Representative following its Inauguration
The First Deputy Chief of Kaggo appreciated Prince Wasajja Eddie for uniting people across all political affiliations, stating that this will give him more opportunities to bring the people of his community together.
Prince Wasajja took an oath along with his council members, pledging their unwavering service to the Kabaka. He also donated 200 chickens to the council to help expand their resources.
The event was attended by various Kabaka chiefs from different levels, leaders from the central government, and local residents.
