To commemorate the Sabbath of Creation in Buganda this year, the spotlight is on educating young children about the vital role of environmental conservation.

Oweek. Nsibirwa expressed gratitude to various schools for instilling in children the value of preserving the environment through poetry, music, songs, and innovative activities.

He encouraged children to advocate for environmental protection by emphasising its significance to their parents, maintaining cleanliness in their homes and surroundings, and actively participating in tree planting initiatives.

Children from various schools exhibited their handicrafts aimed at promoting environmental conservation.

Honourable Waggwa visited the stalls showcasing the exhibits, expressed gratitude to the students for their creativity, and encouraged them to take responsibility in protecting the environment.

He also emphasised the importance of raising awareness among their parents about environmental conservation.
