The Hon. Dr Prosperous Nankindu Kavuma, former Minister of Human Development and the Queen’s Office, today handed over the office and equipment to Hon. Cotilda Nakate Kikomeko, succeeding her.
He thanked the King for giving her the opportunity to serve as a minister in his government. Charles Peter Mayiga for his guidance throughout his tenure as minister. He promised to support the new minister and good relations.
The Hon. Kikomeko also thanked the King for giving her the opportunity to serve in his government. He thanked the retired minister for her service and guidance in the Education Committee.
He promised to serve well to further improve the lives of the people as per his responsibilities.
The retired minister was later presented with gifts and a cake was cut in recognition of her services.
