The Kasubi Tombs were visited by Princess Agnes Nabaloga and Princess Nakabiri, along with Hon. Anthony Wamala the Minister of Culture, Heritage, Tourism, and Security, and Jackline Nyirachiza Besigye the Central Government Commissioner of Monuments and Memorials.
Hon. Kaddu Kiberu, the Chairman of the Masiro Restoration Committee, was in charge of the program and was accompanied by Mr Albert Kasozi, President of BHTB, Jonathan Nsubuga, Katikkiro of the Masiro, and Hon. David Nkalubo.
The purpose of the visit was to check on the implementation of the suggestions made by UNESCO experts who had previously visited the project in September and to get ready for the upcoming conference that will take place in Saudi Arabia in November.
